RX-78F00/E GUNDAM
The RX-78F00/E Gundam is a renewable energy demonstration test machine, intended to operate independently in outer space for long periods without resupply. Its biggest distinguishing feature is the highly efficient state-of-the-art solar energy conversion system known as the G.L.R.S.S, Feather, which is mounted on its back. With the power this supplies, the machine can maintain a high level of basic performance without putting any burden on the surrounding environment.
EX-001 G.L.R.S.S. Feather
The G.L.R.S.S. Feather (Gundam Leaping Recursive Spangle Swarm) is equipment that serves as the core of the RX-78F00/E Gundam's renewable energy demonstration test system. The three major components of this system are high-performance solar power cells, a high-capacity power accumulator, and manipulators. The manipulators function mainly to help attach and remove the accumulator parts, which use a modular structure. It also has advanced autonomous flight functions, independently of the Gundam itself.
