The MS-15/H Gyan Hakuji-Packs is a mobile suit for assault and melee combat developed by the Principality of Zeon forces. It is distinguished by its diamond-shaped head and an exterior resembling the armor seen in medieval Europe during the old era, and uses a cross-shaped mono-eye slit.
The mobile suit MS-15 Gyan on which it is based was equipped with a beam saber designed for thrusting attacks, and a round Gyan Shield which housed six mines (hide bombs), but its performance emphasized close combat and in some respects its space combat capabilities were deemed inferior to other machines.
The Hakuji is a special 27.3m-long spear developed as supplemental equipment to compensate for this. As well as three railguns built into its tip, the Hakuji also has propulsion systems in its rear. These function as external thrusters and acceleration systems for the machine itself, providing higher mobility and speed during operations. Unlike the purple standard type, the personal machine prepared for Xavier Olivette has white-based colors, and its exterior is decorated with unique lines.
Beam Saber
A melee weapon mounted on the hips. Its form resembles a rapier, and it is effective for thrusting as well as slashing.
Gyan Shield
A large defensive weapon with a distinctive round shape. It houses six mines (hide bombs), whose storage compartments open during firing.
Hakuji
A large weapon equipped with three railguns and propulsion systems. The acceleration provided by this device allows the machine to move at high speed, and its piercing section is effective against electromagnetic shields.
