Kingdom of Foundation Mobile Suit
The main machine of the Black Knight Squad, independently developed by Foundation but incorporating ZAFT technology. Its official name is "Rud-ro.A," and it is sometimes called "Roa" for short. It adopts a new generation of "Femto-Tech armor" (FT armor) which beams cannot penetrate. This armor uses a technology that can control it down to the femtometer scale, maintaining a semi-permanent defense without requiring electricity, making it a next-generation version of PS armor.
While it carries only the orthodox armaments of a sword, rifle, and shield, it can be escorted by the GINN-R or DINN-R for supplemental firepower. In addition to a slit-shaped mono-eye, its head also contains a laser for guiding drone missiles. There are four of these machines in different colors. Griffin's machine, painted in black and green, is known as "Emerald."
