Narrative Gundam equipped with a wired remote attack terminal. The remote attack terminal is connected to the backpack by a cable and controlled by a wire.
Interview: Katoki Hajime
The “wired” mechanism in 1/100 scale
In the B-packs, the remote attack terminal is connected to the backpack by a “wired cable" and is controlled. How did MG Ver. Ka incorporate the undulating movement of the cable and the remote attack terminal that relentlessly aims at Phenex into the three-dimensional form?
The Narrative Gundam that appeared in “Mobile Suit Gundam NT" was on the operation “Phoenix Hunt" with optional equipment attached to its body. While the A-packs was for high mobility and the C-packs for hastily built specifications, the B-packs was for long-range combat.
Katoki: First of all, it is important to differentiate it from other equipment and from past designs. “Equipment changing each sortie" and “funnel-like equipment" are not uncommon in the Gundam world, so the question is what to do with the “NT" this time around.
The 𝝂Gundam used multiple fin funnels to form an I-field, and the B-packs applied that technology to generate a psycho-capture field with a pair of remote attack terminals.
Katoki: The idea of a “wired funnel system" came out of this, and although it is similar to the Incom system, it is focused on the capture function. The gimmick of flying while supplying propellant is an idea that came out of the anime “UC" series, which has been concerned with the depiction of funnels. The funnels are mainly designed to operate in zero gravity, and the idea came about because of the repeated depictions of the funnels being a little hampered by gravity. The Kshatriya in the first episode of “UC" and the rotary wing funnels (reflector bits) on the Shamblo are also depicted from this perspective. Besides, the main character is not a new type (?), so he would not be equipped with funnels in any case. The most powerful Gundam of this era is the 𝝂Gundam.
With the A-packs psycho-capture, it was necessary to get close to the Phenex, but with the B-packs psycho-capture, it was possible to capture the Phenex from a distance.
Katoki: Both A and B-packs have weak attack power. We lend to want to give the Gundam the most powerful weapons, but in “NT,' the mission is to capture the Phenex, so it is not enough to just increase the firepower. This is the kind of thinking that I was thinking about, and it helps that Mr. Genma (Nobuhiko) has a firm idea about these things.
Because the propellant flows inside, the cables are thicker than ever before, even compared to those of INCOM, etc. It incorporates a drum-type box to wind and store the cables and a gimmick at the base of the mount to extend the cables outward and secure the margin before ejection (in the video, there is a scene where the cables are extended once before ejection). In MG Ver. Ka, the cable (lead wire) can be pulled out and rewound, and the backpack has movable axes in each section to prevent interference with the shoulder.
Katoki: The rifle is not carried in B-packs, which was the default in the anime setting, and I remember that it was done so that A-, B-, and C-packs would not cover the default armament. The small shield was a shortened version of the one for the Jegan, and a gimmick was also set up to connect them together to make a large shield. It did not appear in this volume: I think the plan was to use the capture to stop them in their tracks and then close in.
Other parts included are joint parts for attaching the backpack of the B-packs to the C-packs, and a transparent psycho frame. For example, by painting it clear blue, you can reproduce the awakening state Narrative Gundam C-packs.

Details
Wired Remote Attack Terminal
The remote attack terminal can be detached by releasing the lock on the backpack side. The unique winding gimmick allows the cable (lead wire) to be extended to recreate the firing scene, and it can also be wound up.
Backpack
The backpack has a remote attack terminal launcher, a drum-type winder, and a movable center unit.
Psycho Capture Deployable Form
Transforms from its two-tailed normal form to four-talled Psycho Capture deployable form without replacement of parts.
Small Shield
By opening the back exterior and deploying the joint parts, two small shields can be connected.
Comes with a set of B-packs, small shield (x 2), weapon display base, and joint parts for C-packs backpack.
The backpack of B-packs is fixed in two places with the backpack of the body. A beam saber rack is attached as an option.
