As more and more second generation units produced by the different branches of the Benerit Group become the norm in mobile suit conflicts, Grassley Defense Systems focused their efforts on developing a next-gen mass-production unit with an emphasis on coordinated combat. As such, the company resumed working on their CC Line of mobile suits, comprising second gen technology, and aimed more towards radically overhauling unit control from the software side as opposed to the hardware side, which had reached its endpoint in terms of design form.
They were successful in adapting their standard OS βHein" to the project, allowing for units to be easily piloted by those of average skill, thereby leading to the creation of Grassley's first ever Grade P third gen, all-purpose mass-production unit, the Heingra. By A.S. 101, Heingras had been allocated to the Dominicus Corps, a special squad under the Mobile Suit Development Council, that back up the squad leader Kenanji Avery in his Beguir-Beu.
Weaponry
Beam Rifle
A portabie firearm developed alongside the mobile suit itself. The rifle utilizes a new type of battery cartridge that allows for high energy output. The weapon highly polished, boasting excellent output stability, and continues to be adapted and improved upon with later iterations of the Hein series.
Shield
A defensive armament with a buit-in beam autocannon in the center. Anticipating having to deal with swarm attacks when facing units with GUND FORMAT, the shield's autocannon can be rotated, allowing it to bombard wide areas while maintaining a defensive stance.
Beam Sabers
A close-quarters mobile suit weapon that produces a beam blade from its hilt. It is standard equipment on Grassley mass-produced mobile suits and is also utilized by the Heingra.
