The GQuuuuuuX, a prototype mobile suit developed by the Principality of Zeon forces for Newtypes. It is equipped with a Psycommu system-technology that was banned after the end of the One Year War. Among its systems is the “Omega Psycommu”, specifically designed to destroy the missing gMS-α Red Gundam.
The true nature of the Omega Psycommu lies in a special object known as the “Endymion Unit," which contains the spirit and Newtype abilities of a certain individual. This system activates in response to the pilot's Newtype powers.
Upon activation, restraints that double as blade antennas on the head are released, and a dedicated brainwave control interface appears in the cockpit, shifting the machine into Psycommu-controlled machine. When the Omega Psycommu is unleashed, circular units on both shoulders and legs activate. Furthermore, when the Endymion Unit awakens, its “mouth" opens, allowing the mobile suit to reach its full performance potential.
Beam Saber
The mega particle circulation beam sabers mounted on the lower back of the GQuuuuuuX are close-combat weapons with exceptional cutting power, achieved by rapidly rotating blade-shaped particles. Up to two sabers can be carried at once. It was lost during Xavier Olivette's battle against the Red Gundam. Later, They were lost during Xavier Olivette's battle against the Red Gundam. Later, they were re-equipped at Sodon, where Machu was also being held.
Shield
A defensive weapon mounted to the arm, featuring a dual-layer structure consisting of a physical shield and an electromagnetic shield overlay. Although a miniaturized I-Field generator is planned to be installed within the electromagnetic shield, the system remains unimplemented due to it being a prototype. As such, it currently functions solely as a physical shield.
Beam Rifle
A ranged weapon designed for anti-mobile suit combat. It fires mega particles at high velocity to penetrate enemy armor. Like the beam sabers, it was lost during the battle against the Red Gundam. It was later re-equipped in Sodon.
Endymion Unit
A special mechanism mounted in the head of the mobile suit. Like the Rose of Sharon, it is a super-scientific object originating from the “other side." Even Zeon's top research institutions were unable to fully analyze it, leaving its purpose and function unknown.
However, once it was discovered that the object could be utilized as a powerful Psycommu weapon far beyond current technological capabilities, it was incorporated into a mobile suit for Newtypes under the name “Omega Psycommu." The mobile suit built to defeat the “Alpha Psycommu" is none other than the gMS-Ω GQuuuuuuX.
Additionally, the second unit, GFreD, is equipped with a Psycommu system comparable to Omega. While its development is attributed to the engineers who worked on deciphering the Endymion Unit, further details remain unknown.
