Kingdom of Foundation Mobile Suit
A unit developed by Foundation using ZAFT technology. As its name implies, it has a black body, as well as a unique design not found in other factions and a slit mono-eye.
It is specialized for hand-to-hand combat and piloted by Shura Serpentine, leader of the BLACK KNIGHT SQUAD, the queen's royal guard. This unit has three Beam Sabers, two of which can be connected and used as a double-edged sword, along with a heat sword and Beam Swords on both feet. The pilot switches between these weapons depending on the situation. The close-in needle projection system that equips to the chest neutralizes PS armor using a myriad of needles, but it can only be used once during battle. There is also a Beam Mantle, which has defensive properties while also acting as a bladed weapon. The next-generation Femto Technology (FT) armor used on this unit is not affected by beams.
